N o t  A n  I s l a n d

..a roving dance piece / installation that re-invokes the mystical & secret.  It is a re-opening of ancient holy places that were closed forcibly; a healing, an un-branding, a re-branding, & a re-envisioning.  It is a regeneration of sacred space, & a looking ahead.

Layered pieces, layered garments, layered stories - an uncovering of new truths, through movement informed by Governors Island, & all the varied stories it holds.  Stick, feather, wind, winding around, light & shadow, grass, earth, sky - the living in between.
