I just discovered Robert Longo and his work through Brian Ferry’s Pinterest “Inspiration” pinboard, and I’m in love with Longo’s work.  He captures on a flat plane the ecstatic movement I long to create in 3D - the dance/motion that gives me little “Eureka!” moments whenever it graces me with its presence.  And all of that through drawing and painting. 

(These charcoal drawings are all taken from Longo’s 1979 Men in the Cities series.)
